  • Producer / VFX Supervisor

    Trailer : Mill Valley Film Festival
    5/12 – 7/12

    Connected this project to my students to implement the vision of professional Directors for the Mill Valley Film Festival Trailer, shown on local stations and in theaters.  Gathered and organized the team, determined roles, managed the production schedule, created the VFX pipeline, worked with Directors to hone the vision and scope of the project, and worked with the students to deliver professional output within the deadline.

    Expression College : Emeryville, CA
    2/02 – 6/15

    Directed 3 programs at the college : Animation and Visual Effects, Fine Arts, and Interdisciplinary Media Studies.  Created the User Experience Degree.  Responsibilities included creating and teaching my own courses ; creating and reviewing curriculum for all three departments ; sourcing, staffing, training and managing staff of Adjunct and permanent Instructors ; scheduling, staffing, booking classes ; creating and managing yearly budgets; and maintaining tight industry connections to remain current.

    Program Manager

    Genesys : Daly City
    8/15 – present

    Genesys’​ global Associates Program combines functions from the Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development Departments to manage and streamline an effective year-long training course experience for incoming Engineers.  Finding diverse candidates to bring their perspectives to the roles, and then teaching the art of integration while maintaining diversity.

    Additionally, working within Genesys’ Human Resources Department to continue to streamline and systematize a creative, dynamic, and scalable onboarding process to unify, integrate, and get the most out of an incredibly diverse, worldwide employee population.

    California Academy of Sciences : San Francisco, CA
    4/14 – 6/15

    Created a short for the floor of the Museum to teach patrons about the caecilian.  Brought together pre-production, managed team of students to create all facets of a CG animated short.  Worked with Visualization Department at Academy to secure our role in this animated feature.
